Bonelli Comics are the Italian publishing powerhouse and one of the strongest European contenders for the continental comics empire.
Zagor Te Ney is a... well, a Western hero, living and adventuring in Darkwood, the frontier... JUNGLE..?! Yep, folks - in that particular reality, the Old West had one of its corners of an endless prairie occupied by a vast virgin forest where our hero does the tripple duty as a Western hero quite able with his six-shooter, sort of a Wild West Tarzan with a stone axe [or is it a hammer..?] - and sort of a costumed superhero. Suffice to say, he remains one of the most popular comics heroes in Italy and probably The Most Popular comics character in my native Serbia. The penciled drawing is inked at a later stage & done for a friend here in Serbia, an ultimate Zagor fan.
There were several movies made about Zagor and his inseparable sidekick, Chico, in - of all places - Turkey, where comics about him were also immensely popular!
